Committed 2 Change was started by Renton Bishopric in 2007 with the goal of bringing issues that are changing our planet and society in positive ways, into the mainstream spotlight. In the time since, the C2C team have carried out multiple studies in various parts of Australia and around the globe, focused on social elements of community structure, leading them to their current focus of developing a model group in Central Queensland.

C2C Mission Statement

To build a National Network with a Collective Conscience, using Festival & Exhibition Events to Educate and Inspire Individuals and Communities, as well as produce revenue for Campaigns and Projects that will Create Positive Change.

The objects of the association are:

• To create public events that showcase relevant and applicable environmental and social issues in positive ways, aimed at increasing social, environmental and political awareness within communities.

• To act as advocate and provide forums for appropriate social, political and environmental causes and issues.
• To consciously encourage and include the younger populations of local communities in Committed 2 Change projects where possible.

• To create a website that can provide exposure opportunities for small and unexposed groups Australia wide.

Through these objectives we aim to create;

“A Collective Conscience” - A group of individuals with a common set of values, coming together and using their differences, to bring about positive change.

• Committed 2 Change strives to improve the overall strength of communities and quality of life for people today, with a major focus also on the quality of life and social existence we are setting up for future generations to come.
• Committed 2 Change embraces flexibility and promote partnerships and collaboration that avoid duplication, foster the exchange of ideas and encourage synergistic solutions to shared concerns.
